Join us on a boat trip out to the archipelago. Mattias, our very own Vrångö skipper, arranges boat trips year-round from the dock at Vrångö Harbor, just a short walk from Kajkanten Hotel. If you’ve booked a stay with us, we highly recommend adding an archipelago tour or seal safari to your experience. Below you’ll find scheduled boat trips that you can book. If you’re a group of 4-12 people, feel free to inquire about booking a trip on your preferred day and time.
Archipelago tour to Tistlarna – boat trip
Mattias from Glittskär, a skipper and experienced fisherman from Vrångö, will take you on a boat trip to Tistlarna. It’s an unforgettable excursion to the uninhabited island group and the lighthouse at the far end of the archipelago. A picnic basket is included! Are you ready for an unforgettable adventure on the sea? Join us for a unique tour to the outer archipelago and discover the seals on the skerries outside Tistlarna. During this guided boat trip, you’ll have the chance to get up close to nature and observe seals in their natural habitat. Lobster Fishing Trip
For those seeking an authentic West Coast experience in the autumn, lobster fishing is something you definitely don’t want to miss. The annual lobster season kicks off on the first Monday after September 20th – a truly unique day on the West Coast.
For those interested in the legendary lobster fishing of the West Coast and want to participate in hauling up the sea’s black gold, we offer lobster fishing on most Saturdays in October. The easiest way to book is through our lobster fishing package, which includes an overnight stay at Kajkanten for a complete experience.
RIB in the summer
Join us for an action-packed adventure to Vinga! Stroll along the trails and explore the beautiful nature of the island, visit the lighthouse and the pilot station, swim, or find a sunny spot to relax. Guiding can be offered. We cooperate with 57°Nord and RIBtours.
